I just had to comment here as I want to ...Hi Mike,

I just had to comment here as I want to see this shop -- Hippie Gypsy! I love that!

Since I retired (just over a year now), I am surprised how casually I dress. Jeans mostly. I guess that comes after 37 years of being suited up, big shoulder pads and all (grin) and high heels, day after day. Now, I shun any dress clothes!

Recently, I want tie-dyed whatever... doesn't matter if it's a long dress, flowing skirt, or t=shirt. It's just gotta be tie-dyed! I haven't bought anything yet, but I have seen some stuff out there. Oddly enough, peace signs in stores too! PEACE SIGNS! Are you kidding me? Yep, they are cool again!

I guess I am simply feeling kinda footloose and fancy free in retirement. Tie-dyed items takes me back to the 70s, before I worked full-time for 30+ years.

That's it.. just my two cents! Loved the article, I would have listened for hours, unlike the clerk! grin!

Thanks for sharing!Wendyhttp://www.retirement-online.comnoreply@blogger.com
